Can someone please let me know how you mounted the aleron servo.

I had some bad luck with it already. Lost the tubing inside of the wing, and i can't get it out. I should have just reached down in there to get it, but I turned it upside down, and it fell into the side of the wing. Can't even hear it moving around in there :( Oh well. I will find something that works. WHat is it for anyway? I know it links the alerons rods, but the screw alone would do that okay. I can find something to secure the pushrod contol horn areas.

Its a beautiful model though. Got all the decals on it.

Thanks for the help

Are you speaking of the piece they tell you to put in the quick connector? I wouldn't worry too much about it. The Alfa's always give me trouble, but none have ever come loose.

It sounds like you have the servo in place already. I always end up having to trim the mount location so I can get full travel, or so I can get a screwdriver on the servo-arm screw and the quick connector screw. But that really depends on what angle you ended up gluing it in on.

So see if you have any more tubing left, or just use the screw. Work the ailerons a lot at high rates and then check the tightness of the screw again.

On my last one, I lost the quick connector screw in the wing. It ended up wedging up behind the servo in the wing and I didn't find it until I crashed it and disected the wing.

Yes, the tubing.

I haven't mounted the servo yet. Gotta go, my boy is needing me. Will reply more later.

I'm back!

So, mounting the servo at an angle seems to work best. I will do that then. Thanks Man!
