Hi,
Would anyone have a Trainer Plane (40 size) or other that they no longer need and would like to sell ? ?..good condt.
I am looking for RTF model something like a "Seagull Boomerang". I have a 6 channel Radio a reciever that I invested in so a RTF Plane only required.

I have no problem in purchasing this new but i am sure that someone would like to sell something like a trainer that they have no longer a use for.

Thanks In Advance.
L.

Hi

I am on my 3rd Boomerang since starting first had a battery terminal come off. The other 2 are still flying after 6 years of weekends.

Als Hobbies are selling trainers for less that £60s ARTF At least you know it hasn't been rebuilt a few times and is going to fly well.

I am now getting my wee boy interested in flying.

The lads at the club cant believe that the wings havent folded or tail etc fallen apart yet since I am now getting better at flying the thing.

Cheers this is my first post/reply not so hot on the computer stuff so hope this works.

Regards John

Have a look at the Thunder Tiger Trainer 40 deals with motor included. A stable and robust ARTF but really very little to do to get up in the air.

Or perhaps buy it without the motor and simply put in an electric conversion setup. There's loads of room to do that in this model.

i can safely say that the thunder tiger seems to be a great trainer so far, a couple of things, it has quite a light wing loading (for me anyway) so it tends to want to keep flying and not land unless you can get a really low idle on the engine  .

also i would replace the main gear as they bend very easily.

I have an Inwood improver which i built some years ago but needs the fin post replacing or gluing. open to offers if you want it.
It flew well on a os35, is an all conventional build and covered in solar tex.

Now that i have gotten better at landings the tiger trainer seems to float in like a dream :), but i would still replace the under carriage (as with most trainers).
