I am looking for a nice BIG (over 100") powered scale sailplane. Gas or Electric would be fine. I have a Windex on the way, but would like something even more scale and larger.

A few years ago I saw a fiberglass mfg with a really nice 135" span powered sailplane with the engine in the nose and I think a T tail, but I can't seem to locate it now.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Seanm, you will have to be a bit more specific :

Does it have to be scale ?
What price range ?

If you want really scale, you would have to go with a scale reproduction of a sailplane, with an up-and go electric powerplant, but that is BIG BUCKS !
See it at ICARE (http://www.icare-rc.com)

If it doesn't habe to be really scale, you could go with something like the Multiplex Alpina (http://www.multiplexrc.com/alpina.htm) ( 160in span), or the Multiplex Kranich (http://www.multiplexrc.com/kranich.htm) and electric motor in the nose, with a folding prop.
I have an Alpina myself, powered with a Kontronik drive set 502, 14 1700mAh cells, and an aeronaut 14x8.5 folding prop, and this combination works really well !

Oops. Sorry. I thought I was specific enough.

I have a nice Windex on the way. It looks good, but I am still interested in something with about 130" or more wing span scale powered or self launching sailplane. The ICare is not the sort of thing I am looking for... I would prefer something like the Ximango (http://www.ximangousa.com/pics2.html) orDA-10 (http://www.aircraftdealer.com/magnusaviation/list_19/images/N639TT_Left_Side.jpg)...or something if this type. Wet or electric are fine.

Thanks for the reply!

OK, now I get it !
You are looking for a motorized glider, maybe something like this :
Falke (http://www.roedelmodell.de/englisch/falke.htm) , although this one already is pretty big, 151 in. wingspan,

The only other one which comes to mind id the Fournier RF-4 from CNC-modellbautechnik in Germany, that one is even bigger, 177 in. wingspan, and it is available as kit with built up fuselage or fiberglass fuselage. their HP is german language only, but if you want to look at it, go to : CNC-Modellbautechnik (http://www.cnc-modellbautechnik.de) , click on "Produkte", and then on "RF4" .

Anyway if you are interested in either one of the discussed models, I am just starting my own business, importing kits from Europe, and one of my services is this type of thing, getting stuff from Europe over here, so that the customer does not have to go through the hassle of e-mails, overseas payments, shipping, etc.

See my HP, MT Models (http://www.mkrusa.com) , under "Services"
