Hello UnitedHobbies whoever is out there, maybe you can clarify some info on your Electric Ducted Fan page on your site, some fans have the same pictures used for other fans, I'm wondering if you can supply the correct pictures of the fans as I'm wondering about what the rotor looks like, in particular the hub size and blade shape. I saw some fans at the AMA Convention in Ontario, CA that were being displayed by Haoye Models, I'm wondering if what you are selling is the same thing as I saw. Of particular interest is a 65 mm or 2.5 inch fan and a 3" fan they had.

Can you clarify or provide pictures of the "HY003-00104-6B EDF Ducted Fan Unit 6 Blade 2.56inch" and the " HY003-00109-7B EDF Ducted Fan Unit 7 Blade 3inch" items?

Attached are pics I took of some of the fans, I'm wondering if they are the same ones your are offering. Sorry for the blurry photos, my camera didn't want to autofocus for some reason.

Yeh, some of the new items look interesting, but desperately need more info.

Right you are.
We grouped the fans by configuration.
For example, we have 4 fans, all different sizes, from 3inch to 5inches, they have the same shaft adapter and propeller number, so we only took one photo because only the size is different.

If the fan has a different number of blades, different case or different shaft adapter then we will make a new photo for it.
It didnt make sense to make a new photo for each size when they are only a few millimeters different in dimentions.

We are working on more information. The factory gave us nothing.

Ed, your photos do look the same (the larger fan in the in-focus) photo does anyway. Does it have anything written on the side of the fan?

A suggestion would be to add different shaft adapters as the ones listed (at least the 6mm ones) are not the most common for these type of fans. You could also add motors in your selection that would fit, ie. have 6mm shafts.

There were markings on most of the fans I think, they all say Haoye and the size in inches and mm, a very nice idea. I think I was going to take a group shot of the fans and hit the darn camera power button instead of the picture button, so the camera turned off, it's not the first time that's happened with this camera. I'm kicking myself for the blurry photos, darn autofocus didn't like something.

The 65 mm fan is of particular interest, very stout hub, looks like it could absorb some power. I went ahead and ordered a few fans but I'm thinking the 2.5" class is that one that looks like a wattage fan but with a larger spinner. Hopefully it comes with a 3.2mm shaft adapter but if it's a 2 or 3mm I'll have to find another so I can run it with the Mega 16/15/2. You'd think a 65mm fan that can absorb some power could be found these days but it's a tough search (Vasa 65, been there, done that, too fragile and expensive).

Any info on the CT-114? They had a small fan in it, man what a cute plane, really like to get one of those. No internal area ruled ducting, just intakes and open fuselage but not a show stopper nowadays with lipo and brushless.
