I will admit that I have posted to stay away from United Hobbies in the past but I had to place an order for some LiPo packs. Their prices are good, not as good as another vendor but I guess UH products have been used by more folks so they can be trusted more.
I placed the order on 1/15 and paid via PayPal as directed from their site. Everything went smoothly although there was a page error after PayPal tries to return you to the UH site, but that is no biggie.
Got email confirmation right away and PayPal confirmation as well, and shipping confirmation can a day or two later. Not bad considering with the time difference placing my order here in the afternoon is night time there.
Order arrived on 1/25 in good shape and everything seems great. I would certainly order again from them based on this order experience. Since it is dead of winter here in Michigan I haven't flown the Hextronics packs I ordered but they all look well so I am not worried.

You are a lucky person :D, i ordered the 16 of january, and at first the order was awaiting dispatch, some days later, the status changed to Picking Queue, and now the order is in the limbo (in no list). I mailed for 4 times to the support and sales mails and i didnt received response, writed i her forums too without results and waited "alone in the chat" ("live chat and support"), so i think im gonna cancel the order if they dont answer the email i sent today :(
If you dont have to request support all works fine but if you have any problem with you order you'll be delayed many, many time, cos they dont answer the email neither the forums.
Prices: 9
Support: 0

What exactly did you order paquito? Was it instock or were the counts low when you placed the order?
UH is such a strange company. Some people have the worst luck with them, don't get responses from emails, and don't get the order shipped out. Others seem to get everything they order (if it was in stock when ordered) and all questions answered on email.
I am in the second group, until they screw me I guess I will stick it out. So far with me they have been just as good as any of the companies stateside, but with some better prices.
I received a order today that I placed exactly one week ago. I have two more orders out that have already shipped, and I have ordered once before with no problem.
It still amazes me that for the price of one E-Flite Park 400 or 450, I can get a BL motor, speed controller, 3 servos, and a lipo battery.

Very good point. I made sure when I placed my order that everything I ordered was listed as in stock with decent counts. Any low count or negative count items were left for a future order when they are in stock.

Paquito, sometimes things just fall through the cracks. Chinese new year is coming and UH sent a notice out that there would not be much staff on hand during the holiday. Hope you get your order taken care of.

If you log in and don't even see orders, then just place them again.
