Congradulations on the launch of lift Zone.
I am excited about Scale and I hope that we can draw some more participation from the scale sailplane community to this forum on scale soaring. Pete George's intro article on scale is an excellent introduction to the subject, and why we all have been adicted to this most realistic form of R/C soaring. Go check it out on the main page of the new Lift Zone. Scale soaring is growing very steadily in the U.S. and in other parts of the world as well. 6 years ago there where 3-4 scale soaring events scheduled around the country. This year I could have attended a scale slope or aerotow event just about any weekend I chose if I were willing to travel. Next year will be a new era in scale events, as Horizon Hobbies and JR radio sponsor a major aerotow event in Champaign IL. and Dieter Mahlein will feature the first ever scale Cross country race at Montague CA
