Organiser Brian Allen asked me to post this for him.
Saturday, 28 July, 2001. Loudoun County Aeromodellers 2nd Annual Electric Aircraft Fly-In. At the LCAA flying field, Banshee Reeks Park, just West of Dulles International Airport, VA.
Flying 9AM - 5PM, $5.00 landing fee. Cookout lunch available on site, and there's a raffle. No comps, low key fun fly get-together for all electric models.
No flying allowed on channels 20 or 21 due to interference!!
Contacts: - club website www.rc1.com (http://www.rc1.com)
Brian Allen 47036 Berwick Court, Sterling VA 20165 Ph 703-430-5849, or allenbw@erols.com
Or
Ron Anderson, 115 Sue Ann Court, Sterling VA, 20164 Ph: 703-444-3215 rwanderson@erols.com
The event flier has maps and details in writing for the major directions of approach.
That's "official"!
As a flier there last year - COME! The site has very well manicured grass, with plenty of space for most electrics - 20 cell models had no problems flying out of the site. Last year saw everything in the air from a parkflier to a BTE Flyin' King. A great, low key fun fly and very well run.
Regards
