I have a project i am working on. I need a 4 in 1 receiver with the

capacity to handle brushless motors but have indipendantly working channels.

I was told that I could modify the Night Ranger receiver to handle BL motor

but it seems risky and complicated. Maybe if a buy a 4 in 1 from the Night

Ranger 3D or Blade Kits I Could somehow qet each channel to work

indipendantly. Does anybody know if the Channel mixing is done from the

transmitter or the receiver. It would seem logical that transmitter "tells" the

receiver what to do. If this is so then i wouldn't have any problem buying a

bL capable 4 in 1 receiver because my transmitter is a simple one, it does

not mix chancels. Can anybody shed som light please?!

I'm new to these terms. What is a 4 in 1 receiver? A BL motor?

(Mixing functions are performed at the TX.)

4-in-1 combines receiver, ESC, gyro and mixer in one unit. Typically used with light helicopters and simple transmitters. It's the ESC part that would need to be modified or bypassed and replaced by a BL ESC.

BL motor is brushless motor.

Most are actually a Rx that is taped together with the ESC/Gyro/Mixer unit.

Why bother, get a receiver, a gyro and mixer and use brushless ESCs.
