hey all,
I have aerofly pro (not deluxe) and I recently started having a strange problem with connecting to my OPTIC 6 transmitter. My observations:
OPTIC 6 was connecting with no problem before a couple days ago.
OPTIC 6 now does not connect unless I hold trainer switch, even then have limited connectivity (input bars flash in calibrate window.) twiddling connector brings connection in and out.
OPTIC 6 still works fine for real models, no trainer switch needed.
my OTHER TRANSMITTER (older non-computer, same pin layout/connector used) connects no problem without having to press down trainer switch
my hypothesis: Problem almost certainly with optic 6. I think I damaged trainer port on my OPTIC 6 last time I unplugged it. I tried to move contacts inside trainer port on OPTIC 6 to ensure contact. I think its probably the outter shell.
Question: what might cause the connectivity to only be while trainer switch down? what contacts do what on the trainer port?
