Just bought G3.5, brought it home and opened up the package.

Noticed that the glued on transmitter sticks leaning over about 10 degrees because someone at the factory didn't take much care in attaching the stick.

Took unit back and LHS replaced it.

Brought new unit home, opened it up and these sticks are leaning over even more... maybe 15 degrees from the vertical.

I don't know about the quality of Great Planes equipment, but if this is any indication of their overall competence, then they are surely in trouble.

Are the quality of Great Planes aircraft any better than the quality of G3.5 transmitter boxes?

"glued on transmitter sticks"??? I've never heard of or seen such a thing. The only major problem I know of with the newer batch of Interlink Plus controllers is the spring tensioning pin inside. They're replacing those under warranty left and right.

The sticks on my Interlink Plus are identical to my T7CAP transmitter.

Great Planes seems very aware (and they're very willing to replace) of the problems presented to them. The Interlink is made by Futaba... are they sending out a re-designed Interlink now?

Have you called RealFlight support? you'll get someone at Great Planes...
Maybe I'm not clear as to what you're seeing as a problem... got a camera to post a pic?

Hi case,

I'll see if I can post some pics later on tonight. It's the oddest thing, and on two separate tx cases.

I'm going to run the controller through my DX6, as I hear the realism in G3.5 is quite good, and I'm waitng to see it for myself... :D
