Hi,

Does anyone know whether it has recently (last decade) started any UAV project in Russia?

Thank you

Russia has had several RPV programs some of them resulting in operational programs for the Russian Army. One example the Shmel 2, another the Strekoza. Many others, some pretty large; some license produced,(poorly) by China.
Good refernce source for UAVs/RPVs is Shephard's "Unmanned Vehicles" annual handbook. they are at http://www.uvonline.com

You can also search for,

DR.3/VR3, E85/E90, E95, Filin, Ka-37, Ka-137, Kolibri, La-17MM, M-23, M-141, M-932, Moskit, Pchela, Phela (Stroy-P), R90, Shmel, Tu-123 (Yastreb), Tu-141 (VR-2 Strizh), Tu-243 (VR-3 Reyes-D), Tu-300, VR-2, Yak-060 and Yak-061.

That's all I found. They were listed in the Index of my "Unmanned Air Vehicles", book with ISBN 0-7643-1500-5.

Hi Guys,

The Russians hve 3 systems that woulb blow away most of ours and the U.S`s.....only way i know as because I had the "PLeasure" you might say of being included in the joint Project with the UK. My Russians a bit rusty though.

Can you imagine a U. A .V comparable to our shadow2000 or buster......but these actauly work...well more than 60% of the time unlike ours..with thier own defence systems so thsy are hybrid UAV/UCAV

Thats about all i can say safely.

Когда бог будет иметь его войну, только мы mortals будем оставлены. ВВЕРХ ПО REPUBLIK

Best regards,

Mike.

Shadow 2000 and "Buster" are not "ours" since American; but they work. Myself original founder of Mission Technologies Inc which produces Buster. Good enough for special forces!

Hi,

Also true, but the new requirements for our Army , Navy and the Swedish airforce, require MP UAV`s, which im sure you are more than aware of if your involved with them, hence those 2 are now reaching thier end of deployments. The new British Army UAV is about a meter in span, due to the requirement for brigade commander control of personal use.

LOL...if you are who you think you are we have met. Did you go to Eurosetory last year?......we had a stand there Protoming our UAV`s which thank god We have passed Clearence for tester runs with Our Army.

I look forwad to talking more with you.

regards,

Mike.
