got the smoke burners from hobbylobby!

these are 2 oz. smoke cartridges in 5 colors with holder . they are from hobbylobby and i am using them on my twin jet. they burn for about 4 min. and are really cool!! i have the large ones . you can also get the smaller ones that mount on your wings. they are nice because i can put them on my foamies because of the low weight and the fact they burn but do not get hot on the outside. the cartridge holder keeps them about 3 inches away from the aircraft also . and they can be mounted on the belly of the plane as well as the top of the fuse. . they throw alot of smoke also!!

How are they ignited?

I know this is an old thread but Im hoping someone has some experience with these......

You can either use a blowtorch to get them going or there is a remote ignition system.
