Holly Cow!

We enlisted the help of famed pilot and G3 expert Ryan Archer to help us build a digital version of our Challenger Bipe! Archer and his band worked many nights perfecting this model. We then had the Jimmie Wade, the designer test fly it for hours until his thumbs were raw!

Here you go! Not only is the model 99% accurate to the real plane available from 2dogrc.com, it is FREE!

Please enjoy the model and share with your friends!

That's a little cutie; and that bouncing tail is ok too.

very nice, I wish other manufacturers did the same thing :) Really helps selling products I think. Once the model is made it's fairly simple to get it into each of the simulators out there.

The plane flies very well. Were the physics designed for the current released version of G3.5 or for the beta version that's about to come out. There have been some significant changes to the physics that might require updates to the model when it's released. It did fly very well only problem was the tail bouncing but that could be my version is the latest beta.

I think that is your version..We flew this all weekend at the AMA show with no "tail bounce". I will talk with our sim guy, Ryan Archer, and see what he knows.

I am running a beta version of g3.5 as i am a beta testor for knife edge, it could be that in the new beta they have different physics.

The beta version was just made public today. The tail bouncing happens when the plane is just sitting on the ground. The tail bounces up and down quickly. Does not affect the flight of the plane. just looks funny

Maybe a dumb question here, but what's the trick to install this? Not sure where to extract the files to.

You don't extract the files. The archive is a g3x file but the web site does not understand that extension so when you go to save it it will want to save as a zip file. Just save it to your machine as a zip file (depending on some systems it my even be a different extension but the process is the same) and then rename it from

2dogrc_Dualsky_Challenger_Bipe.zip

to

2dogrc_Dualsky_Challenger_Bipe.g3x

Then you open up realflight and go File -> Import -> g3x

and then select the file and it will import the plane into the simulator. Then select it from the airplane list.

And yeah it's like a bunny

Thanks! Much appreciated!

I'm learning more and more everyday about this simulator.
