Its a good plane to start with i guess, any elevator+rudder+throttle slow, park flyer sized (if space is limited) and high wing model is good though really. But i wouldn't go with the GWS electrics they are recomending. The GWS electrics are only good for servo's anything else (rx's tx's speed controllers etc) are not worth it in my opinoin, its really a case of 'what you pay is what you get' i've found. Get a good 6 channel computer set if you thinking of staying with the hobby, its a worth while inverstment. THE Sanwas RD6000 OR VG6000 are very good sets. Also you'll be wanting to power any electric model now days with lithium polymer packs (lipo's). They are much lighter have much greater capacity (longer flight time, over 100% more than nicads) and are now basically the standard in electric flight.

go to www.befa.org.uk and look at the suppliers link, lots of good online companys that will be able to help you get started. Once you know what you looking for its worth looking on ebay and bmfa.co.uk (private adds) for second hand electronics transmittters (tx's) receivers (rx's) etc all come up frequently and at good prices.

PM me if this has been helpful, and if you need to know more we can talk.

Good luck.

Stuart
