Hmmm. I have to go to Temora and sort out rego of my glider trailer sometime in the near future, perhaps that might be a good time..... Actually, I doubt that'll be a good time for me, I'll have just come back from a work trip :(

How much of a drive is it from say Hornsby Steve?

I'm planning on going to Avalon if I can organize it, but I have wanted to go to Temora for a long time.

You can go by Orange, Cowra, Young ,Cootumundra and Temora ,driving times are about the same allow 5 or 6 hours. its all pretty country but dry as you can imagine . Flying is on both day check the link for the musuem.
I also know that the Historical aircraft restoration society will have the Connie there . They will be having an open day as well shortly at Albion Park

Well ,
Let me tell you the Caravan at the airfield had seen far better days and Temora is a typical country town where after 5:00pm its hard to get anything that resembles food  . But the airshow was good ,its was stinking hot that day but our vantage point was under the verandah of the the Temora aero club ,a very friendly club and well worth a visit if you out that way . But dont expect anything to fancy :D .
