Have all items in my order marked like "in stock" for several days. On site some are already out of stock. But why it is still unposted, if all items are marked as in stock in my order ?

I don't know when your order went in. Mine is in picking also and went in at 705 AM Fri. Taiwan is 12 hours ahead of me so the order arrived Fri 7:05 PM and they are probably closed for the weekend. I expect nothing involving a human to happen until the weekend is over.

I placed an order with them on the 31st and got the notify email today that it was shipped. I would say overall that they are a bit slow right now due to the Chinese New Year coming up and a ton of people are getting their orders in before they take 2 weeks off for that. A month does seem a bit long though. I've been waiting near that for an order from ELE Model that still has not showed. That's why I keep ordering from UH. They usually aren't that slow. I guess all you can do is keep on their case until it gets shipped.

I placed an order a few days ago. One item came up backordered even when listed as in stock. I emailed them about it and got a reply in about 6 hours or so. They offered to substitute a more expensive ESC. I replied that would be OK just let me know the difference in price. Got an email back that I was to get the higher end ESC at NO CHARGE. I also note my order is in que to be shipped. I am sorry you guys are having problems with your orders. I have never had anything but excellent service and prompt replies to my queries. Karen always emails me back in less than 24 hours. I hope you can get your problems sorted out because they certainly have excellent prices and I really like the products as well.

I've been watching different items light up "backordered" in my order status for a week and a half, so I e-mailed today to ask them to cancel the current culprit. Maybe UH is just the place to get multiple duplicate items and get the variety packs from places like BPH...

I should point out that none of the items I ordered were listed as backordered at the time I placed the order....

I placed an order on 1/10/07 with items on backorder. I contacted UH last night and the items are expected to ship out on March 3rd. So almost two months due to backorders. Oh well, at least I know it hasn't been lost in the wood work.

Each of my eight orders that were not backordered have arrived with exactly what I ordered.

I have currently six backordered shipments which all but one should ship before the Chinese new year.

I'll report back on how it all works out, but I believe the name of the game with this company and backorders is to sit back, relax, and wait.

I will continue to use UH as long as the products delivered are what I ordered and come in good shape.

So far I am satisfied with the company and I really can't complain. The stuff that has come is excellent :)

Mine are not back ordered, the tracking says items are returned to sender on 19th and since then nothing is happening.

FWIW, I placed an order on February 8 with no backordered items and received confirmation from United Hobbies that it shipped today, February 12.

This is only my second order with UH and both have gone extremely well, but I haven't ordered anything that's been shown on their website as out of stock or backordered.

I ordered $228.00 of stuff from UN on 12/26/06. I finally received them on 02/09/07. All in all, 2 weeks is OK. The only issue that I have is with the Hacker Style motors. The one they sell as an A20-20L performs like an A20-22L (Hacker). That is OK with me. It mounts fine but the prop adapter holes must be countersunk more to accomodate the screws they send with it. The one they sell HXT22D2B (Hacker A20-34S) is almost worthless. It performs at 1/3 the power of the Hacker A20-34S and the motor does not fit the mounts and the prop you use must be drilled out even larger to mount the prop. Pass on this one. The rest of the stuff that I got was very good. The 10A and 18a H-Wing ESC's are OK once you figure out how to program it. Be careful of the lipo batteries that you buy from them. They have to be rewired to use with a standard lipo charger. The batteries are wired backwards and will burn up, smoke, or explode if you hook them up to a standard charger. After having rewired them, they work fine (I smoked the first one because of the wiring). Hope this helps anyone who is using this vendor.

I see you are really lucky guys. Mine is still not delivered, and what I understood grom last UH mail it will never be delivered. I dont know why my parcel was returned to UH, but seems they dont know what to do now. lol. My stupid opinion is that they should send it again to me. They even asked me if my sending address is correcct. After I confirmed, everything stoped finaly. Now only idea is to refund monney. I cant understand why it is so hard to send to me what they already have packed and returned (if only at all) to them.

Batteries wired backwards?
This sounds very odd. Please post a picture and info of the pack.

I got three (2 x 3S 1700mAh and 1 x 3s 1350mAh) packs from them which I am very happy with.
None of these where wired backwards.

I never got batterys. Parcel was returned by post ofice and I dont know why. At least it is what I see when I try to track my EMS number. But seems UH decided they have done enough at first atempt and dont want to resend me that parcel. Instead I am geting tons of emails advising me to buy something else and to transfer more money. And so on and so on.
Why just not sent this damn parcel to me ???

Still waiting for you to provide more details and perhaps pictures on your batteries "wired backwards". If this is true, it's a serious matter that must be attended to. Waiting for your clarification.

Doubletap - AJ posted to multiple forums and the issue was dealt with in one (or more) of the others. The result was the TAP wiring on the Hextronik packs was in reverse to the wiring on the non Hextronik packs he already had.

So I don't have to lift the wrapper on my HTX packs and worry my little head off !. :)

If the plug fits into my Align charger , should I have now to worry if the charge served up the wrong way ?, or is it comfermed O.K .
I get the feeling Hex' would'nt have done a outright stupid thing like be reversed with the same plug as most battrey come.

I still don't feel relaxed about this !. I'd apprechiate any info' now !!?.

CG,

My understanding is that Hextronik wire the TAP in the most common way aand that AJ had packs from the only (?) manufacturer that used the same plug but wired in reverse.

ON my packs the pack positive is connected to the TAP's red wire and the packs Negative to the TAPS black wire. The intermediate wires are different colours but are in order.

I have no idea if the plugs will fit into your align charger or not. There are many places that make up cables designed to connect one type of connector to another.

Michael
