SA Express Dash 8

Just posting some progress pics of my Dash 8 315B in mid 90's SA Express livery. does anyone know if there are other SA Express dash 8 models lurking around or is mine the only one of its kind??? (please say yes :) )

I'm trying to build more models which pay homage to South African operators, getting a little tired of seeing US Navy on so many aircraft... :rolleyes:

Very nice, I also get tired of the USAF ensignia especially on models of WW2 fighter craft. That looks to be a balsa build... is it a kit or your own creation?

After just over 1 year, the Dash-8 315B is finally finished and ready for her maiden flight. Just waiting for a nice day and will post the videos in due course

it is electric.
it has not yet been maidened. waiting for the PERFECT day!
i fly in boksburg, but will probably maiden this plane at umbilo in springs because they have a surfaced runway

is it ducted or on push motors?

what do you mean by "ducted or pushed"

cant see the prop/props anywhere..the motors in an engine housing on the wings or u putting the motor at the back of the plane to 'push' it?my terminology isnt very good =)

Looks like your eyesight isn't very good either...LOL! if you look closely you'll see the props and spinners.

the motors are housed inside the engine cowls like on the real thing.
