Maritime Museum hosts Radio Control and Scale Model Exhibition
Bellingham International Maritime Museum (BIMM) will host the first annual Regional Radio Control and Scale Model Exhibition on Saturday, February 10th, 2007 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. BIMM is located at 800 Cornwall Ave., Bellingham WA.
The event will feature: workshops and demonstrations by master builder, and Bellingham resident, Paul Schneider; radio controlled and scale model static and active displays; a full-size demonstration pool; refreshments and a raffle. Admission is by donation.
Those interested in displaying their radio control and/or scale models should contact BIMM before February 1st.
BIMM, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, exists to honor, celebrate, record and preserve the rich maritime history of Bellingham, Whatcom County, and Puget Sound, with a special emphasis on the Pacific Northwest regional trans-border nautical heritage shared by Washington State, British Columbia, and Alaska.
