Just a word of caution about the Hextronic HXT18 PC programmable 18A ESCs.
I had one fry the output FETs on first power up.
Cause seems to be the smaller heat spreader had slipped down at the output end and made contact with the solder bobs for the output wires. There appears to be some sort of electrical insulation tape under the metal plate but it seems to have slipped past it to make contact.
Moves realtively easy with a push from a finger-nail. Can't see anything else which would cause the outcome.
The tape really needs to cover the solder blobs.
