Last saturday we had an hand launch event at our local club near Montreal and Etienne brought one of his fully molded "super scale" thermal machine. I took some pictures...
Look at those wings ! 5m span... state of the art, forward swept etc... wow...

For sure you Englishmen are blessed with hundreds of incredible inland slope sites that we very seldom see here in spruce tree covered North America…:(
But we have both Atlantic and Pacific see cost... My buddies and me go to Cape Cod for several days every spring. Yepeee !:p

Yep, lots of slopes in UK and within 8 mile of me most directions are covered.

It's an 1:5 scale Lunak aerobatic sailplane of the early sixties. Very lively sloper yet can slow down to a very scale like flying speed. The full scale Lunak was an aerobatic contest winner and the model does give me a lot of fun !
