I finally got my Parkhawk flying straight, thanks to everyone here for all the trimming tips. Unfortunately on the second good flight the front wing struts broke at the point the enter the root aluminum block. It looked like they were flexing there as I launched it, at full throttle the wings were barely moving. Got it up in the air and *SNAP* ------ thud. Fortunately there was no damage to the rest of the airframe. I only have one spare wing strut so I am going to have to try to order another one, guess this would be a good time to replace the stripped elevator servo too. Ive had a few ideas for servo saver arrangements, cant wait to try some of them out.

I'd be interested in your servo saver ideas? How many flights did you get out of the parkHawk before the Wing spar broke?

I got a total of 5 flights, but I purchased it second hand and the previous owner had dozens of good flights. My main idea for a servo saver is to use a flexible control rod. Something just stiff enough to withstand the pressures in flight and keep the elevator stable, but flexible enough to bend or stretch if the tail is suddenly pushed or pulled on a crash landing. I am considering a section of laminated rubber (4 straight pieces of rubber band coated in rubber cement) as well as a few odd things I have laying around that might have the correct properties.
