Installing servo grommets

Are there any sure fire methods for installing the little servo grommets for people with "fat fingers"?

I slip one on a small round dowel or screwdriver, apply a drop of water to the grommet, slide it on.

small needle nose pliers works too or even a small forcips

i saw chris on rc hobbies that was on tv use the screwdriver method. i tried it too and it is so much easier
