Does anyone have any good ideas about cheap Chinese outrunners for this model? I was looking for something similar to the Park 450 outrunner that would be a lot less money but that I could still run with a 20 amp esc. Maybe United Hobbies sells something that would give the same peformance. Any ideas?

Could you please provide a link to that model. Not everyone has that model in their workshop.

Thanks. I downloaded the manual for it. The spec's given would work quite well.
Your answer is in the manual. Read it then look for a motor that closely matches it's spec's. I found several within 1min, both top-notch and cheap-chinese (and that was just google).

Hi Loogey,
The most important specs you need to match are the weight, external dimensions (so it will fit in your model and you won't have centre of gravity issues) and max load current. The kv of the motor will decide the diameter and pitch of the prop and the number of cells you will want in your battery pack. If you can find a motor with the above specs similar to the park 450 you should be right.
The best thing is to just buy something that fits the specs above, buy an Amp/volt metre (United Hobbies has them too) and a few props. Stay within the specs of your battery, esc and motor, and you will soon learn how to pick how to choose from the thousands of brushless motors out there. That's how I learned :)
Good luck
Chris.
