First impression: it is too hard to steer
Second impression: two sticks is so 1920's

Future of RC control?

How about finger throttle for channel 3 and 1,2,4 are done by pitch/yaw and rolling the Wii control.

hahaha thats awesome. incidentally, my friend and i were just discussing this. it would be amazingly fun to fly an airplane with a wiimote. too bad the latency on that setup is a little crappy. i think it would be great to hold the nunchucks like an aircraft yoke and fly it like that, or set up one as a control stick, turn it for rudder, throttle on a little dial

With the number of people who claim to have bad thumbs you'd think there would be more discussion here.
Guess the idea is just ahead of its time.

thats a good point, but maybe people just feel more important when theyre holding a big, fat 10 channel radio than a wiinie little wiimote. who knows

nah thats what people said about gas planes going to electric- 'people want to hear an engine roar- nobody wants quiet power lol'

There is 2 or so guys on here who could pull it off- I was just sayin its possible. yipee :)

And I will someday wear an inertial beanie and do loops around the Village people leather and spiked TX crowd :)

Add this to it and it'd be perfect. Heck, this wheel already looks enough like a yoke to me.

Only thing lacking would be throttle..

Turn left.... Turn right... Tilt forward, DIVE DIVE! ;)
