Micropower Question

Maybe I missed this in the docs, but have two questions on Micropower Logger.

1. How long will it record. Obviously depends on data rate, and whats recorded, but some kind of spec here would be nice to know.

2. Can it be hooked up and downloaded to PC using only USB power or does it need its own power?

Hi there,

With the recorder set at 8hz and sampling amps, volts, rpm and one temp I can log a 10 minute heli flight using about 70% of the available memory.

and you only need USB power to download.

I set the sample rate to 1/2 second and I get about 65 minutes(recording amps, temp, rpm, volts, etc). You can figure it out from there for 1/4, and 1/8, etc. If I am testing something I will reduce it to 1/8 a second sample rate but most of the time 1/2 a second works fine for my needs.
