Just to say hello to you all, i have a Robbe Moskito basic all assembled. Was in bits due to advise stating to run the engine in whilst mounted on a bench (securely) with a prop blade fitted to load it. Couldn't get it to run so its been on the back burner for over 4 years due to work commitments etc. Then the other week began reading a few internet sites and stumbled upon this one. Seemed to be friendlier than most and technically competent advise / answers from experienced flyers. Have taken the step of buying a simulator as this seems common sense rather than emptying my well hard earned wallet contents. Have just missed the post this morning so will pick the sim up asap. Have purchased a legal version of Pheonix as the discussion on this forum was excellent. The ongoing development and intervention of the basic principles of a sim for flyers rather than gamers was well discussed, debated, trolled etc. Ade retained his composure to the questions raised. Yourselves began to get a wee bit to technical for my current level but gave a goal datum of the levels i hope to achieve - however long it takes, as it all boils down to the sports enjoyment. I will be sourcing a RC club in the localality of Nottingham J26 M1 asap to further develop my skills and safety commitments etc.
Thanx for reading this long intro (most i've typed since having an essay at school as punishment Ha Ha.)
Warmest regards to you all
