simulator cable wont work

hey guys i got the 4ch falcon 40 helicopter which comes with a sim. cable. i can fly it but would like to get some more practice with other helicopters.

i downloaded the fms program, plugged the cable into the radio and switched the controls from the keyboard to the joystick but it it wont work.

would anyone happen to know what is wrong

Probably you have to install ppjoy, add a virtual jopstick, then run ppjoycom and select Zhen Hua mode. Read first the ppjoy manual.

Unfortunately there are 3 types of that radio.

1st type: a proprietary "Zhen Hua" code is coming out of the connector. The radio is working with it's own cable, working with a proprietary sim program bundled with the radio as well. For any other program you have to install ppjoy as above.

2nd type: no signal at all coming out of the connector, nor its own cable nor any other cable is working with it.

3rd type: standard ppm is coming out of the connector. The radio is not working with it's own cable. But working with a standard simulator cable like Hitec usb simulator cable.

No type number on any other visible sign helps to recognize which type you have...
Best way to check the signal using oscilloscope.
