I'm building a small wood boat, it's an old kit, maybe 1950's, Chris Craft style, and only 12" long. The boat was originally set-up for a .049 gas engine, free running. I want to make it electric and RC
OK, it's not really a racing boat, but I want to put in a small fast motor. I am also trying to use what parts I have, so that means brushed motors because the ESC I have is for a brushed motor. I have several motors, from a small mini z motor up to a 480 BB race.
I was thinking of using a modified mini z motor with 2 li-ion cells like these

my concern is, is the motor big enough?
Thanks
Peter
