Hi,
I am trying to install RealFlight V1.20.71 on a newer computer with WinXP Home Edition. I go to install and get the following messages.

Less than 1305 MB free. Clear up at least 20MB. ( I have plenty of room on the HD)

Error of one or more parameters passed to function are incorrect.

File: L:\Kelib\Direct Draw\DXDirect Input.cpp
Line 649

Error: Initializing Joy stick interface.

Got any ideas or can`t I install the early Win 95-98 versions to XP>

You should update your RealFlight version, this will solve the problem. Until couple of years ago, KnifeEdge/Great Planes offered upgrades for RealFlight "Classic" and RealFlight Deluxe on their web site for free download. Unfortunately, they discontinued support for these old RF versions, removed the updates and now they are hard to find.

What is your RF (the version number doesn't tell me much)--is it "classic", i.e. pre-Deluxe, of Deluxe version?

I believe it would be Classic. It Just says Real Flight RC Simulator on it. I think it is the first version to come out.

I just found my old version of Real Flight Deluxe.. Will it run on XP? How's the quality compared to newer (cheap) sims like FSM or Clearview??
