hello,
how hard would it be to make a 5amp esc with brake and reverse? its not for a plane, its for an rc car. Im sure most all of you are firmiliar with the new Micro-T, well, i currently just have a 5amp forward only esc in it with my sepketrum receiver. Can anyone give me schematics or a website with stepby step instructions on how to make one? Oh, and a 2s lipo cutoff(6v) would be nice too.

Sorry if its been posted allready, i did a quick search and couldfind exactly what i needed.

Or is there anyway to reprogram a GWS esc?

GWS ESC's are forward only, and cannot easily be made reversable.

I have developed a bi-directional ESC for boats (http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/bhabbott/bridge.html). However, the software would have to modified for a brake, and I will not provide 'step by step' assembly instructions!

The easiest solution is to just buy a micro car controller such as the Novak Spy.

the novak spy is probably as big as the car :o ...its a 1/36th scale.. i think ill probly just live without reverse and get a forward+brake gws esc

The Novak Spy is only 28x24x12mm (even smaller with the case off). Are you sure it won't fit?
