This is the motor I received. It weighs 27gms. There is no motor like this on your web site. What is it and what are its specs and why didn't I get the motor I ordered?

Hello Kit.
The motor you got is the very same item. The [insert nasty word here] factory have sent us the incorrect mount type and shaft on the motors. These were mixed up with the correct mount type/style you see in the image.
We have about 10 customers with the same issue and we are replacing their motors for free.
Rather than reply here, send an email to support@unitedhobbies.com and we will send you out a free motor with the mount shown in the ad.
Sorry for the mixup, you will find several other members of rcgroups with the same motor issue.
We have to be double careful with this factory as they like to surprise every once in a while.
Rgds
Karen.

Thanks for the reply. I think I found which motor it is over at one of your competitor's web sites. :)

The mystery motor!
That is the same motor, different mount.
It's part of the 'Motor Mixup Saga' that is all over these boards.
We have corrected the issue and sent out over 60 free motors.
We wont be trusting that factory again!

Out of curiosty, don't you check the motors (or items) you received from
the factory to see if it is correct before posting the pictures
and specs. This would help eliminates error like this and cost of
replacement. I know you are busy and short handed and selling items
before they arrived but a simple check before posting or shipping
goes a long way. Just an idea.

Not every single one.
We also wholesale, it's not possible to unwrap every motor.
We could employ someone to unwrap every product and do a visual inspection. However, things such as motor turns, magnets, slight differences in sizes, are not noticable untill the customer gets the items.
We try our best and check most items when they come in. And everntually through trial and error we find out which factories we can trust and which ones need the fine tooth comb treatment on each order.
Through error we now know that factory needs a big root@xylonite.org, with many teeth.

I received the correct motor today. Thanks for correcting the problem.
A suggestion for your web site. In areas that have more than one page, you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page and then select the forward arrow to get to the next page. This is very tiring when you want to get to page 7 of 8. It would be much easier if you listed all pages such as, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 > and let users click on the page they want to get to and it would also be nice if those page numbers were also listed at the top of each page as well.
