Hi all,
If i were to use a AXI2808/24 motor with a 11.1V 2100mAh Li-Po
on a Liberty EP trainer
roughly how long can it fly on full and half throttle?
I have been to model motors website and i think the power consumed by the motor with various props. ( http://www.modelmotors.cz/ )
Is there any ways that I can calculate the endurance using available data? It seems on the site that they do tests for the power consumption, not calculated. :(

Anyway, I worked out the endurance by assuming the motor uses 200W, it seems to be 7 mins, is it correct?

Thanks in advance. :)

7 minutes would be correct for 200W... However unless you run flat out all the time power draw is likely to be much less.

Half throttle in MOST of my planes seems to equate to about 20-25% WOT current draw..

Stuff that is flat out at 10C rating seems to stay up for half an hour or so.

Hi all
Also I don't know how to estimate flight duration at the optimal speed
Could you please help me?

Regards,
