I'm another new member, live in london, UK, and regularly spend time in Netanya. I'd be grateful for some information...

1) In Netanya, I live close to a spot used by paragliders on the cliff top. Are these guys likely to get exercised if I chucked an RC foamie off the cliff nearby?

2) Can I use my UK equipment in Israel? Is Israel channelisation the same as Europe? do I need a licence?

Thanks in advance for any advice

1 - I know that guys used to fly RC stuff there but the authorities forbid that now (don't know why)
2 - the law says only 72 MHz, but many people (me as well) fly with euro frequency (35, 40 MHz).

Rob,
When you're in Netanya, give me a call! (send you a PM)

Rene & Eitan - thanks for the info. Wonder how easy it is to change JR Eqpt from 35 to 72 MHz?

It'll be simpler just to get a 2.4Ghz Spectrum set...;)
