These things are supposed to be really, really durable. No crunchy stuff inside.

I have a silver one... 2 tanks 1 new 1 dosent need hydro testing for a while... comes with a nice new barrell and barrel bag as well. the gun fires flawlessly but the paint on it looks a little old (bought it that way for 110 used) would let it go for 60+ shipping so around 70-75 dollars if that is reasonable... lmk if you want a pic.

This is a very reasonable price. I would go for it.
Odds are, this is an older '98, but that's like saying it's an old-model Rolex. It's still going to work perfectly, and if that's a Flatline barrel he's referring to, you're in for a treat. (Even if it is'nt, any aftermarket barrel is supposed to be a huge improvement over stock.)
Tippmanns are built to last, and last, and last, and last. There's a reason most paintball places use Tippmanns almost exclusively for rentals.

here are the pics... the ends of the screws have a little rust on them and you can see the obvious paint chipping. have to get the barrel bag and other tank where I have it stored but this is the most recent configuration... It has worked great the few times that I used it! (thats why I am selling it!) The barrel is aftermarket and it works alot better than the stock. (had stock config on my old one a few years ago) I also have a wrench set for it that I got when I purchased it.

Ahh, I miss my old 98 Custom. I started out with one.
If anybody else is interested in paintball stuff, I have an Intimidator I will probably never use again I would be more than willing to trade for some plane parts.
