just checked ebay as of 12:30am EST 11/29/06 the 20gig HD versions are selling for $730 - $830 shipped. I saw 5 in 5 min go for that.

Weren't most of the 20gb ones recalled or having problems. If you're not the original purchaser sony won't warranty it either.

yah I'm sure. If it is a mass recall you should just take your ps3 too best buy (or where ever) and swap it out. Sony knows how many of these are hitting ebay and they'll take care of it I'm sure. As far as a recall I thought as far as a hardware issue it should just be overheating like the 360 and everything else should be a firmware update. If they are having more hardware trouble then heat, PS3 is in deep trouble. But like the PSP they'll wait till someone cracks it then you'll get your fixxes, updates, and new security. If anyone has a PS3 please weigh in. I heard it supports homebrew and am curious how they do it?
