nothing special just straight agp or pci tis going in an older HP vectra for my wife so she can play a few games
PC is P3 800mhz
win 98
384mb ram
currently is has an AGP voodoo 4500 in it thats well sketchy at best

Odds are, you're limited to an old-style AGP port, which won't support newer graphics cards. You'd be better off just upgrading the motherboard and RAM while you're at it.
I could bodge you together something a bit beefier (say, a pentium 4 at 1.8 ghz) for a reasonable sum.

Or if you don't want to waste your time with an over-rated, overheating Intel, I have an AMD 2.2 Ghz system that has AGP express and PCI-E (new vid. card standard). PM me for details...

I'll take that, thank you very much.
Also, P4's only overheat when you do not have a very large heatsink attached with good-quality thermal paste, and overclock them.
Besides, I doubt he'd be selling his system for $150.
