Bank Transfer LONG time to confirm????

Why does it take more than 5 + days to confirm a bank transfer transaction??
I thought with bank transfer is a next day confirmation when u get your bank statement..even 2 days not too bad BUT + 5 days :(

Mine is sitting on pending since 21/Nov

My bank told me it takes 1-2 weeks for transfers to China.
Having said that, after the two weeks that I waited, I went back to my bank, and they informed me that they forgot to send it out. I later received conformation within 2 days, and I was not charged for the transfer.

I refer to Net Bank transaction,,it is overnight to their account. I heard they are short of staff to do admin function. When UH were not popular it was the next day confirmation, I guess business is too good they cannot cope :(
