Glow plug start

Ok, i need information.

What voltage and current do i need on the glow plug to get the damn gas to ignite ! !

And what plugs are best and 'do i' need to tease the wire out ?

I'd say, similar to a regular glow plug in voltage. Maybe 1.5-2.0 volts? I'm just guessing here.

I use McCoy #9 and yes I do tease out 2 coils as per jet cat instructions.

A tip is before teasing out the element coils, give a new plug a glow first. The heat makes the element less brittle & the plug should last longer.
