The Supra I ordered from Kennedy Composites arrived yesterday. No damage in shipping, and it was well packed. Concerning dealing with Kennedy Composites, I'll just say "no comment".
An inspection of the model shows all is well except for one small issue. I'll do my best to describe it. Those who have Supras will know for sure what I'm talking about.
The threaded "stud" (for lack of anything else to call it) in the horizontal stab "V" mount is not centered in the mount. When the horizontal stab is placed on the "V" mount, the "stud" is not centered with the mounting hole in the stab. I measured the hole in the stab, and found it properly centered.
Now, the amount it is off center is slight, but still enough that the "nut" that screws onto the "stud" to hold the stab in place won't go. I will have to modify the hole in the stab slightly, to allow the "nut" to thread onto the "stud". The modification will be minor, and in my pee brain wouldn't appear to weaken the stab mounting situation by any significant amount. Comments anyone?
This is not an alignment issue with the stab, as the stab is "keyed" onto the "V" mount on the bottom of the stab where they meet. It is just kind of a "fly in the ointment" with what is otherwise a very nicely manufactured model.
By the way, I'd like to say "thanks" to all who have contributed to this forum about the Supra. I've read them all, and even though the model comes with no instructions, I feel informed enough to complete the build without screwing it up too much (hopefully).
