TC3 Newbie question

Well, here goes. I am a newbie in the r/c scene and have just one question. My TC3 Nitro has the side exhaust system and coats the body and the rear wheel in oil.

Is this normal, and if so, what will I need to do to convert it to a rear exhaust?

but you may have the outlet on the pipe pointing the wrong way? it should point out through a hole on the side of the body, so stopping much of the oil getting any place u don't want it

Ya, I am afraid that is normal.

We are fortunate with our trucks that the exhaust comes out the rear and we put extentions on the deflectors that came with the trucks.
You could extend the exhaust tube or maybe run in under and out the back.
Use a piece of silicone tubing to extend the exhaust pipe.
