I have a question. Do alot of people lose planes? Are there other plane trackers out there?
Reason I ask is, I may know something that might work in recovering planes. Its small enough and light enough that wouldn't add hardly much weight (65 grains), has a range up to 1,000 yards. Its approximately 1/4" diameter by 3-3/4" long.
However cost may be a factor, not sure how much someone is willing to pay for a tracking device like that.
I will see if I can find out some more information if anyone is interested.

I found a product www.loc8tor.com but realy expensive
What links and prices you got
the reciver that makes a lot of noise would have been the best solution for the plane I lost in a small forest
I recall seeing a golf ball with a greyhound symbol onit but lost the link think it was green or blue greyhound somethinglike
www bluegreyhound.com
problem is how to get the gizmo from inside the golf ball as a golf balll is fairly heavy thing to have in a plane
Right now I need a way to detect the plane in the trees something like a metal detector able to detect metal in the model at some 20 to 30 feet as plane is months in trees and bateries are for sure flat
