Burnt up a couple of resistors in my Blade CP transmitter--there's a small board on which the trainer jack is mounted.....4 resistors on that board. I burnt up the 2 outer ones.....was wondering if someone may know the values or be able to measure a set out of a working transmitter? Thanks, Mike.

On my transmitter all four resistors are the same value: brown - black - gold (1 ohm).

Great--thanks for the info......I was assuming they were all 1 ohm.

Guess I fried more than those 2 resistors....replaced and trans is inop....won't control Blade or provide signal out the trainer port. Still have my Eclipse though.

Bummer. I just started flying my CP on my Futaba 9Z. If you can set up your Eclipse you might find this a blessing in disguise. Lots more options for adjustment.

I've actually had it set up for quite a while.....much easier to control with expo, dual rates, etc. Just wanted to use the E-Flite transmitter for sims and keep it in the house--instead of carrying the Eclipse back and forth.

Were you able to get the E-Flite to work on a sim? I've been trying to get it work on FMS with the cable I built from here

Everything works fine except the throttle/collective gives me all or nothing, except for a very small range of movement in the middle of the stick. I'm using SmartPropoPlus, PPjoy and the latest version of FMS on a PC running XP.

Never did--I smoked it while trying a mis-wired cable.........

Hi,
I believe those are inductors, not resistors.

I hadn't thought about that. I was wondering what possible good 1 ohm resistors would do.

What function does an inductor serve? I guess I've never seen one....till now  . Sure would like to get this thing fixed--can't visually identify anything else fried.

To filter out high frequency noise. The value would be 1 uH (microHenry).

If you replaced the inductors with resistors and it still didn't work, I would expect you have other problems as well. Replacing the inductors with resistors would just mean the trainer port is susceptible to high frequency noise input or output, but I would expect it to work. If it won't control the Blade, it looks like more got toasted than just the inductors. Sorry.
