Hi,

I recently assembled a Greensleeve ARTF 2m EP glider (also known as the BMI Valbella) These models have a plastic blow moulded fusalage. After a couple of 'rough' landings I have noticed some of the wooden wing mounts have started to come loose. I've tried various epoxy resins, cyono's but nothing seems to make a lsting bond to this material. Anyone got any suggestions?

You might want to try a rubber cement type of glue shoe goo or some thing along those lines a thick bodied glue of this type may be able to cling better to the plastic as it is flexable

Use a two part POLYESTER resin, it's different from the usual epoxies that we use and will stick anything to virtually any plastic. If you cant find any locally, contact Scoonie Hobbies by fone. You'll find them in the back of all the mags. Ask them to send you some of their 'pink and green polyester glue', they do mail order.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but lots of people have problems with plastic fuselages and finding glues to suit.
