Views on 3 simulators

I have finally gotten around to being able to get a copy of aerofly pro deluxe. This means i got to compare G3(not 3.5), Reflex XTR, and afpd. Im not going to do a review here or anything....im just saying my thoughts on which i think is the best. I personally want to see what other people think also. To me G3 doesnt make the cut. Why? because it just seems less realistic then the other two. Not sure about 3.5 since i havent tried it.... but g3 is my least favorite here.



Reflex XTR and aerofly are close.... I have to say Reflex XTR gets my pick for the realism.... but i find myself enjoying aerofly more. I think its the feel of the simulator. But there ya have it... my ranks of the 3 high dollar simulators.

#1 Reflex XTR (most realistic)

#2 Aerofly Pro Deluxe (most addictive)

#3 Real Flight G3 (great features...but i would put my money towards Reflex XTR or afpd)


I still think to this day that increased physics in Clear View would cause that sim to skyrocket to success. For the price i think its pretty high up there.

I just uploaded ClearView 4.59 here (http://clearviewrc.com/ClearViewSetup459.exe) Changed the flight parameters for Shockflier, Edge 25% and Edge 33%. They are much easier to hover, let me know what do you think now. Also, Edge 33% has some additions to the flight model, now it does parashutes, walls, spins and flat spins better. Do you feel it's flies better than Edge 25%.

Awesome stefan. I'll check that out first thing when i get home. Being easy wasn't the problem it's just the shockflier was near impossible to keep a hover long before it flopped the other direction. I'll check it out and let you know how it is. And thanks alot stefan for listening to your customers and fans. Thats the biggest key to keeping a good relationship with customers. That alone makes me want to purchase clearview 7 times and share it with people.

Stefan! Great work. The shockflier and the Edge33% are great. The edge 25% seems to have a small issue. If your at a hover and then give it some rudder to go into a knife edge.... No matter how high i was, with full throttle the 25% would go at an angle to the ground and crash. The other 2 you did a great job on though. I deffinitly like the 33%
