Aileron area

Not sure if this is the right place to place this question

But does anybody know How big of an aileron area should be for any wing how would you figure it out

It depends mainly on what type of flying you want to do. Typically somewhere between 8% and 20% of the wing area should do it. Fast and smooth, small ailerons. Slow and wild, large ailerons.

Basically, look at existing models of the same type as you're trying to build and copy their aileron sizing.
