So, how do I do the upgrade? Do I need to uninstall the current version first and then re-install the latest version?
Thanks,
Rudy

Oh, looks like I find the solution to my answer. :)
Note #1: - Before installing any new version, delete the directory SVKSystems under c:"Program Files" and then un-install all old ClearView versions using Windows Control Pannel/Un-install Programs. Your registration status will remain active, you will not have to activate the program again.
Note #2: - Keep all third party models and landscapes for ClearView in separate directories, for example in c:CustomModels and c:CustomLandscapes. After the new install, just drag and drop Models and Landscapes directories from c:Custom to c:"Program Files"SVKSystemsclearview

Yes..you will need to uninstall current version...You WILL NOT lose the ID key when you uninstall. Then simply re-install the new version. I usually back up all the custom models & Scenery before uninstalling, then I delete all that is left under c:\Program Files\SVKsystem. Re-install and copy back my custom models and scenery. Note that you will have to re-set up your controller in CV..as It will be a fresh install.

If you uninstall CV first what you are left with is your third party models, scenary etc and this makes it easy to copy to somewhere else before deleting the whole directory structure.
When you come to copy it back make sure that you don't overwrite anything in the SVKSystems directory structure. If you get any warnings stop and investigate. This mostly happens if you have tweaked any model parameters the modified files get left behind after the uninstall.
You should check out the model in the new version before overwriting its parameters as from time to time the physics or other thing get updated and overwriting the parameters could leave you with a model that won't fly.
