Is ultracote ok for obechi over foam? I dont want any meltdowns as this is the only Airtronics plane Ive ever gotten the chance to own.
Thanks,
Bob

i Just finished a sailplane with Obechi skinned wings and UltraCote worked great! I always dreaded covering wood sheeted wings since I always seemed to get bubbles that took a lot of labor to get out. Of course my biggest problem was applying the covering too hot but the great thing about Ultracote is that it goes on at a lower temperature than MonoCote. Before you cover the wing experiment with your iron settings and start with the lowest temp that will activate the glue.

Ditto on Ultra Kote over Obechi or most any other thin hardwood sheeting. I used it on my ArtHobby Thermik without any problems at all

get a tack cloth and make sure to get all of the dust out of the grain before covering
