Does anyone know of any RC soaring sites in the San Luis Obispo Ca. area?

Well, back when I lived in Morro Bay and was a member of SLO Flyers, we use to fly thermal off the runway at Camp SLO and slope off a side ridge of Madonna's mountain (above the church on Foothill Blvd.) However, that was 25 years ago and I think both sites are off limits now. Big Help, I know. You might contact Dave Zucker . He currently lives in the area and flys sailplanes. I'll send you his email address via private message.

For thermal, you have your choice of schools-
Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande High school, or Santa Margarita.
For slope, just pick any cliff along the ocean, or head over to the hill at Laguna Lake.
