I use the powermax trigger valve from dreamworksrc, but you can also use a cheaper gas probe that jetcat offers if you don't mind having cold propane blowing on your hand when you put it in and pull it out.
Eitherway, some propane/powermax is going to escape when you disconnect.

Depending what type of gas container you are using, you would need a valve that fits it...there is no standardization here. This year I used plain ol' Coleman propane with a Great Northern valve.
It is the cheapest combo going, but, I found that it starts first time everytime on the propane. I've tried powermax and different combos of propane/butane mixes as well as straight butane.
If you decide to go with Powermax, I have a brand new, never used trigger valve if you are interested...
