hi

if you need a simle constant current led driver circuit, here it is.

parts list:

1x LM317
1x 62 ohm resistor (can be 1206 smd) soldered between terminals 1 & 2

+ input is 3, + output is pin 1

usage: just connect in series with a led that requires 20mA
if you want other current, then change the resistor value,

I=1.25V/R

There is a dedicated device for driving 20mA into LEDs. No resistor is required at all for a basic circuit. Find the BCR402R device.
